Storage systems for potatoes. Pressure wall with baloons

The pressure wall with baloons is designed for efficient storage of potatoes, onions, garlic in boxes.
The air is blown by fans into a longitudinal row between two rows of boxes, and from above the row is closed with an inflatable baloon. At the end of the row, it is also possible to install a baloon or a cross row of boxes.
The air passing through the container effectively dries or cools the product inside the container.

Conditions for efficient system operation:

• • enough space above boxes (1.50 – 1.80 m) for intake hatches;
  • sufficient distance between boxes;
  • the space between the boxes is blocked by special inflatable baloons.

Advantages of a pressure wall with baloons:

• separate storage of products of different grades and fractions;
• low air resistance, which ensures lower energy consumption; the ability to regulate the air flow separately for each channel;
• air travels a short distance (box thickness), which contributes to quick and effective ventilation of products;
• fast cooling and drying of products inside the box;
• all boxes receive the same volume of air and products are dried and cooled evenly.
